چکیده

With the aim of promoting sustainable agriculture that respects environment and human health, a study was carried out to evaluate impact organic mineral fertilizers on tomato plant cultivation. The at Research Station Farako-Bâ in Burkina Faso. A complete randomized block Fisher design with four replications used carry experiment. treatments were as follows: T0: control (compost 15 t/ha); T1: compost (15 t/ha) + biosol (160 kg/ha) urea (35 NPK (87.5 KCl (52.5 kg/ha); T2: neem seed cake (10 (100 (250 (150 T3: biochar kg/ha). data collected collar diameter, height plants, number fruits, fruit yield. results showed combination organo-mineral had significant effect productivity. Application most efficient treatment yield increase 53% 40% 2019, respectively. In 2020, 32 85% for biosol, Incorporation has improved soil nutrient status, which ultimately promotes crop growth plant. Neem can be effectively productivity farmer's income also maintain fertility.

Respiratory behavior of turning stage mature tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) under closed system at different temperature

The respiration rate and respiratory quotient of mature tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L. cv. ‘Himsona’) fruits harvested at the turning stage were determined under closed system at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 35 °C (ambient) temperatures. The rate of respiration was higher at the start of the experiment and gradually declined as the storage period prolonged, before becoming almost constant. The steady...

Root-synthesized cytokinins improve shoot growth and fruit yield in salinized tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) plants

Salinity limits crop productivity, in part by decreasing shoot concentrations of the growth-promoting and senescence-delaying hormones cytokinins. Since constitutive cytokinin overproduction may have pleiotropic effects on plant development, two approaches assessed whether specific root-localized transgenic IPT (a key enzyme for cytokinin biosynthesis) gene expression could substantially improv...

Influence of phosphorus on the arsenic uptake by tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L) irrigated with arsenic solutions at four different concentrations

We have studied the uptake and distribution of arsenic (As) and phosphorus (P) in roots, shoots and berries of tomato plants, grown on uncontaminated soil, irrigated with As-contaminated solutions at four concentrations (0, 0.5, 2 and 4 mg L-1), in presence or absence of P fertilization. The biomass of tomato plants decreased with increasing As concentration in irrigation water, especially toma...

Endogenous Abscisic Acid Promotes Hypocotyl Growth and Affects Endoreduplication during Dark-Induced Growth in Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.)

Dark-induced growth (skotomorphogenesis) is primarily characterized by rapid elongation of the hypocotyl. We have studied the role of abscisic acid (ABA) during the development of young tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) seedlings. We observed that ABA deficiency caused a reduction in hypocotyl growth at the level of cell elongation and that the growth in ABA-deficient plants could be improved by...

Proteomic analysis of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum, formerly hycopersicon esculentum) pollen

In flowering plants, pollen grains are produced in the anther and released to the external environment with the primary function of delivering sperm cells to the female gametophyte. This study was conducted to identify proteins in tomato pollen and to analyse their roles in relation to pollen function. Tomato is an important crop which is grown worldwide and is an excellent experimental system....
